A "Private" listing is hidden from your website but can be shared via its URL.

How to set a listing as private

1. Login the the backend and navigate to "Manage Listings"

2. Locate the listing that you want to turn private.

To set a listing as private, the listing must be converted to OWN first.

3. Set the listing private.

Using the Status dropdown (usually defaulted to "Published"), Select the "Private" option.

After the listing is turned Private, it will be visually updated like below.

4. Copy the URL.

Either copy the URL directly from the PREVIEW button, or click on the PREVIEW button to copy the URL from the top address bar.

After the steps.

Navigate to your "Featured Listings" page that shows gallery of your listings and ensure the listing is no longer visible. Refresh the page to see the latest changes.

Final notes:

• If the listing has been Public for a while before setting it to Private, the listing might already be indexed and may show up on Google Search.
• To prevent this, set the listing to Private as soon as the listing has converted to own.
