There are many small settings adjustments that you can do to help organize your website and make it easier for your clients to navigate. One of those ways is to feature the areas that you do the most work in. This ALSO helps establish your niche and expertise in those areas. Its a win win!

Now how do you do it? And what does featuring areas mean?

Below is a picture of what this change will look like. When clients search your website for listings, they can use a drop down to search by area, by featuring certain areas, they will appear first in this drop down. This makes it easier for clients to find the areas that you do the most work in, and therefore that they are most likely looking into.

How do you make these changes? Start by logging into the backend of your Brixwork website.

Along the top of the homepage is a menu bar. Click on "MANAGE CITIES" tab in the left menu bar.

Once you click on it, it will take you to a list of cities with subareas below each city.

Next to each area is an "Add subarea" button, "Delete" button, a "Edit" button, a "Publish" column and a "Featured" checkbox.

If you click on the publish box for an area, a small drop down will appear, like so:

Click on "Published" and there you go! Now it will show up.
