On your google apps email account you have the option to add an email signature that can help your clients find other ways of contacting you or learning about your business. Examples can include: phone numbers, addresses, website, and social media like facebook and twitter.

So the first step to accessing this marketing tool is to open the settings in your email account.

On the very right hand side of the page there is a "gear" shaped button like below:

When you click on it, a drop down menu will appear with several options. Find the settings button on this menu.

Once you open it, you will be taken to a new page that includes a seemingly endless supply of setting options. Stay on the general page. Where you start.

Scroll down until you find the Signature section:

Make sure to first change the setting from "No Signature" to what is in this support article "Elisabeth Astwood" but will on yours have your own email.

From there you can see that you can add text, links, images and format them in a number of ways.

How to Add a link in your Email Signature

Somethings to add to your email signature can be a link to your website or social media sites. To do that, find the link button on your toolbar. It looks like a chain link and is selected in the below image.

Once you click on it, a link popup screen will appear. Simply copy paste the URL into the text box and click "OK" at the bottom on the function.

How to Add A Photo to your Email Signature

Find the place you want to add the photo (under your name or phone number, for example) and click there so your cursor is blinking. Then find the image button. See where the link button is highlighted in the image below?

The image button is directly to its right and looks like a grey box with little mountains in it.

When you click on it this pop up will open:

Copy and Paste the URL of the image you want to use into the text box.

Once you click "OK", then you are all set. Just don't forget to click save at the bottom of the page when you are finished!
